Frequently, children with Learning Disabilities, AD/HD, Down Syndrome, Autism/Asperger Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities and Emotional Concerns have difficulty interacting with their peers and navigating the world around them. Friends for Me Too is offering opportunities for these young adolescence to have fun, hands-on activities with kids their own age. Each session will address one social or life skill objective. Our goal is to help the children and young adults develop self-esteem, improve relationships, increase independence and foster good communication skills.
Friends for Me Too provides Pragmatic, Social & Life Skills training as well as AD/HD Coaching and Recreational Therapy to improve life, social, and vocational skills in youth and young adults. Sessions are conducted one hour per week over 6 weeks. Our goal is to increase the overall independence and happiness of the students we serve.
